WE would like to thank everybody who has donated their time, money and kindness over the past 12 months to the Lily Centre.
Balenciaga Replica As a charity for women with breast cancer it is thanks to the generosity of these people that the centre can continue its valuable work. We would particularly like to mention our sponsors, building firm Flanagans, patrons Cherie Blair, ECHO Women's Editor Susan Lee and Estelle Condliff of Radio Merseyside. Also Tony McGann and staff at the Eldonian Village Hall.
As Merseyside's Women of the Year for 2004 we are extremely grateful for all the help we have received.

MY daughter enjoyed a works' get together at Flares night club on Saturday, December 3. Unfortunately her handbag was stolen. It contained pounds 60, credit cards, perfume, make-up etc, but the thing she was most upset to lose was her `lucky sea bean'.
This is rather like a large, flat chestnut and she has had it for at least 20 years since she passed her driving test. She would love to have it back.
Please if you read this post it to Rachael Tinniswood at the ECHO.

I MUST congratulate you on articulating what a lot of people feel about the Fathers 4 Justice with your headline `Height of Stupidity' (ECHO, December 6).
I am all for these men protesting if they feel they are being unfairly treated by the courts, but the means they choose are Custom Cufflinks irresponsible attention-seeking tactics.
How can they say that being on the top of buildings is not endangering themselves or others?
They risk losing a lot of public sympathy.
Deborah Reid, Waterloo
embroidered patches NO wonder the Fathers 4 Justice have problems getting to see their children if they think that dressing up in silly costumes and pulling ridiculous stunts is the way to attract attention to their cause.
They need to all grow up and then maybe the courts would respond more sympathetically to them.
